US Recognition of the Armenian Genocide

Today the United States of America recognized the Armenian genocide.

As you can see from the numbers, the Yezidi community was also victim of atrocities during the Armenian Genocide. We stand in solidarity with the Armenian community and supportive of US President Biden for the genocide recognition. Recognition matters to surviving communities.

Unfortunately, Christians and Yezidis remain at risk in the Middle East. The Armenian Genocide in 1915 and the Yezidi genocide in 2014 have many similarities. Threats to minorities like Yezidis and Christians in the Middle East remain.
