FYF women’s and children’s centres near completion

Friends of the Free Yezidi Foundation,

I am pleased to share with you these photos of the FYF site in Khange Camp, and to inform you that regular operations at the children’s center and women’s center will commence by the end of October. FYF has hired, on a probationary basis, several educated Yezidi IDPs from Sinjar who live in the Khange Camp. Some will work as language and computer instructors and art teachers, while others will be helpers and supervisors. This will be a great financial and emotional boost for these FYF employees and their families.

In addition, FYF will hold its first post-trauma training session for 25 field practitioners in the first week of November.

We are grateful for all the moral and material support that we have received, and we are now working to ensure sustainable funding for 2016 and beyond.

Sincerely,

Pari Ibrahim
