Combatting GBV

Khanke, Iraq.

Trough funding from the US Government the Free Yezidi Foundation has been able to implement a pilot project in Sheikhan, Iraq. FYF’s Yezidi staff are trained to provide advocacy services to achieve gender equality and counselling services for women and girls in Sheikhan. FYF attaches great importance to combatting gender-based violence and promoting women’s rights and equality within our own community.

FYF staff are distributing a flyer in Arabic to ensure women are aware of the work we are doing.

Support our work!
